Cohen and south Lebanon

US Defense Secretary William Cohen stated on Monday that the US will not deploy forces in south Lebanon in the framework of UN peacekeeping forces after Israel's withdrawal from the region.
Cohen, who was talking to reporters after his meeting in Jerusalem with Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak, said that no new decisions were taken concerning UNIFIL, which works in south Lebanon.
