Mopping up operation in Algeria

The Algerian security forces killed five gunmen during mopping up operations in Tebessa province and in al-Sharaqqa area, a suburb of the capital, Algiers.
The Algerian daily al-Sahafah said on Monday that a bomb explosion in Boumerdes province resulted in wounding seven of the Algerian army and police members.
Meanwhile, the Algerian daily al-Khabar said the armed groups killed five members of the municipal guard in an ambush implanted in Kfaso town in the Algerian Sidi Bel Abbes province.
