Israeli government discusses withdrawal from south Lebanon

During its weekly session held on Sunday, the Israeli government discussed military and political reports on conditions in occupied south Lebanon. These reports were proposed by the Premier and war minister Ehud Barak and by the army's chief of staff, Shaoul Mofaz.
Israeli Radio indicated that Mofaz reviewed in his report the readiness of the Israeli Army to withdraw from occupied south Lebanon including the installation of an electronic fence along the Lebanese borders.
