Khalid Naciri, Moroccan jurist elected head of Arab human rights commission

The Arab League council has elected Moroccan academic and jurist Khalid Naciri, chairman of the Arab human rights commission for a two-year renewable term. Naciri is member of the political bureau of party of progress and socialism (PPS) and former chairman of Moroccan human rights organization.
The Arab human rights commission meets once a year to examine human rights issues in the Arab states.
