Platform on Maghreban homeless children adopted in Barcelona

A platform for the defense of Maghreban homeless children in Spain as been adopted recently here to raise awareness among the Catalan society about the situation of homeless children in order to help their social integration.
The platform --which includes more than 60 Ngos including Moroccan association "Ibn Batouta," and personalities operating in the child's rights-- calls on local authorities to pay special attention to the homeless children, to regularize the situation of illegal immigrant children and to set up night centers to accommodate homeless children.
