Princess Lalla Meryem opens exhibit of women handicapped painters

Princess Lalla Meryem opened in Rabat friday at Oudaya Gardens an exhibition of paintings by disabled women artists dubbed "Creativity defeats handicap." The princess was briefed on painters and paintings displayed, exceeding fifty works, and received a gift from one of the artists.
The event is part of activities staged for the national day of the disabled celebrated every March 30.
