Barak confers with Cypriot president

Cypriot President Glavkos Clerides on Friday expressed hope to finding out solutions to pending issues in the Middle East by peaceful means. This was expressed during the meeting held between Clerides and the Israeli prime minister Ehud Barak in occupied Jerusalem.
Earlier in the day, the Cypriot presidents who arrived in Israel on Tuesday met with the Israeli President Ezra Weisman.
