Cyprus proposes to host Lebanese - Israeli peace talks

An Israeli official source said on Friday that the Cypriot president Glafkos Clredies has expressed his country's readiness to host Israeli- Lebanese peace negotiations might happen in the future. The source said that the Cypriot President gave this proposal during his meeting on Thursday with the Israeli foreign minister David Levy.
Levy, for his part expressed Israel's readiness to resume negotiations with Lebanon at any place and in any time and at any level.
