El-Baz: Egypt supports Syrian demands

Osama El-Baz, the political advisor of Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, said that the Mubarak - Clinton summit followed the Geneva summit, therefore it will be a new start for new communications in Cairo to learn about the possibility of resuming negotiations on the Syrian track.
He said following his arrival at Cairo that Egypt supports the fair Syrian demands and that Palestinian negotiators adhered to informing President Mubarak about the latest developments in the negotiations which took place at Bolling Air Force Base, saying that having many rounds of negotiations without reaching results is a frustration.
El-Baz also stated that Egypt deals with the Iraqi crisis to reach a ground that will allow mobilizing views on the international level, yet it needs some time.
