French donation of one million euros for Lebanon

The French agency for development decided to grant Lebanon one million euros as a donation to prepare for a study concerning municipal and health services projects.
A statement issued by the French agency's bureau in Cairo said this donation comes as part of the distinguished relations between Beirut and Paris on different levels, whether the cultural, social, economic or political.
The statement added that Mohamoud Ossman, head of the Lebanese construction and development council and the manager of the French agency for development, Francois Cade, signed the donation contract in the attendance of Minister of Agriculture Soleiman Franjieh and Charles Josselin, the French minister of cooperation and Francophony as well as Philipe Le Cortier, the French ambassador in Lebanon.
