Jordan, Sudan: peace can be established only through withdrawal from the Golan, south Lebanon

Jordan and Sudan have stressed the importance of committing to the march of peace on all tracks in order to achieve a just and comprehensive peace based on international legitimacy resolutions, including resolutions numbers 242, 338 and the land-for-peace formula, implementation of UN resolution 425 in the framework of the peace process which ensures complete Israeli withdrawal from south Lebanon and its western Bekaa, unconditionally and from the Golan until June 1967 border lines.
In the joint statement released at the conclusion of the meetings of the Jordanian- Sudanese higher joint committee on Thursday, chaired by Sudanese Vice President Ali Othman Muhammad Taha and Jordanian Prime Minister Abdul Raouf al-Rawabdeh, the two sides stressed the importance of implementing obligations and commitments, as well as agreements reached by sides concerned and realizing the national rights of the Palestinians, especially their right to establish their own independent sate on their national soil with Jerusalem as a capital.
Concerning the Israeli aggressions against the Lebanese territories, the Jordanian and Sudanese sides renewed their solidarity with Lebanon and voiced backing for it. They called on the international community to interfere to prevent such aggressions in the future and to force Israel to abide by international legitimacy resolutions and the peace process.
