Egypt prepares to host G-15 summit

Egypt started today preparing the special arrangements for convening the summit for the Group of 15 developing countries (G-15) which Egypt will host under the chairmanship of Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak on June 19 and 20.

During the meeting, special arrangements were discussed concerning convening the anticipated summit and the different ministerial meetings of the foreign ministers,and ministers of economy, trade and finance in the group's countries that will precede the summit, Mounir Zahran, representative of President Mubarak and advisor of the Egyptian Foreign Ministry said in the meeting.

Zahran added that the commercial fair that will be held on the margin of the summit discussed its special arrangements and the businessmen's participation in the summit from the different group's countries.

The summit meeting coincides with the celebration of the 10th anniversary of establishing the group.
