Posada confident Morocco - EU fishery talks in April

Spanish Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries Jesus Posada said he was confident Morocco-European Union fishery talks would start in April, reports "EFE."
Posada said he favored a search for new fishing grounds for the Spanish fleet that can no longer fish in Moroccan waters and suggested joint-ventures to develop other aspects of fisheries.
He downplayed statements by the Galicia fishing officials saying the quest for new grounds will not be enough for the Galician fleet alone and voiced disappointment for the lengthy stoppage of the fishing activity stalled since Nov. 30, 1999.
