Youssoufi meets speaker of Gabonese national assembly

Premier Abderrahmane Youssoufi met in Rabat Tuesday visiting speaker of the Gabonese national assembly (parliament), Guy Nzouba Ndama, and accompanying delegation.
Enhancement of bilateral cooperation, updating of existing agreements and the coming meeting of the Gabonese - Moroccan commission topped the agenda.
Both sides stressed the need to rekindle and enhance inter-African cooperation as well as the important role to be played by the Cairo Euro-African summit (April 3-4) in boosting exchanges between African countries.
Guy Nzouba Ndama conferred the same day with the chairman of the Constitutional Council, Abdelaziz Benjelloun, and members of parliamentary groups of the two chambers of the Moroccan parliament.
Discussions centered on Moroccan democratic experiment, cooperation ties between the two countries and ways to enhance trade and economic exchanges.
Ndama, on a week-long visit to the kingdom at the invitation of speaker of the house of representatives Abdelouahed Radi, has already met M. Radi and Senate Speaker Mohamed Jalal Essaid.
