Sudanese message to Ethiopia

Ethiopian Prime Minister Meles Zenawi on Tuesday received a verbal message from Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir, conveyed by Sudanese Foreign Minister Mustafa Othman Ismael who is on a short visit to Addis Ababa.
AFP quoted diplomatic sources as saying the message pertains to bilateral relations and political and economic issues in the region.
In this respect the Sudanese minister discussed bilateral issues with his Ethiopian counterpart before he left the Ethiopian capital in which he had arrived on Monday from Djibouti, where he took part in the works of the ministerial council of the Inter-Governmental Authority on Development (IGAD).
Relations were officially normalized between Ethiopia and Sudan in October 1999, following al-Bashir's visit to Addis Ababa.
