King Mohammed VI to visit Italy on April 11

King Mohammed VI of Morocco will visit Italy on April 12 - 13 to fulfill the invitation of Italian President Carlo Azeglio Ciampi so Italy would be the host of the second European state visit for the Moroccan king after France. It is also considered the king's second official visit outside Morocco since he assumed power.
Moroccan diplomatic sources in Cairo said the Moroccan king will discuss in Rome fields that concern the two counties such as economic cooperation, commercial exchange, political issues that concern the two countries and the positions of the Moroccan expatriates who legally reside in Italy, estimated at 140,000 Moroccan citizens.
