Jordanian - Sudanese higher committee meets in Amman

Meetings of the 2nd session of the Jordanian - Syrian joint higher committee chaired by the two states' prime ministers started in Amman on Monday to discuss cooperation fields and means of revitalizing agreements and executive programs between the two sides.
The meetings will discuss the possibility of establishing a holding company from the private sector in the two countries and setting up joint projects, signing an agreement on protecting and encouraging exchanged investments between the two sides and organizing trade expositions at a cost of one million dollars.
Jordan seeks during the meeting to sign an agreement on free trade with Sudan, reactivating the sea transport agreement between the two countries as well as signing protocols on cooperation in the health, educational, cultural, labor, information and agriculture areas.
