Israel intensifies aggressions against South Lebanon

The Israeli occupation forces on Monday afternoon bombarded several towns and villages in South Lebanon. Lebanese security sources said the Israeli forces shelled al-Qaiseyeh valley, al-Sawannah, Khurbet Soloum, and al-Salawqi valley.

Further reports from South Lebanon added that the Israeli warplanes bombarded the central sector of South Lebanon.

Lebanese security sources said Israeli warplanes raided twice the eastern surroundings of Qibriha town and dropped four rockets in the area.

He warplanes were confronted by the Lebanese antiaircraft defenses.

The Israeli occupation forces mopped up the outskirts of Majdal Zoune, the valleys and the mountainous routes.

Other mopping up operations were preceded by intensive presence of the Israeli warplanes at low altitude during which mock and provocative raids were carried out.

On Monday afternoon, the Israeli warplanes raided twice the woods of Qibreiha in the western sector of South Lebanon.

Lebanese security sources said the raiding planes dropped air- to surface missiles on the area. The Israeli warplanes also raided twice Sujoud district in al-Tuffah region.

Lebanese security sources said Israeli warplanes dropped air-to ground missiles on the area and the Israeli raiding planes were intercepted by the Lebanese army fire.
