Rain prayers in Saudi Arabia
Saudi Arabia, Agriculture, 3/28/2000
The rain prayers called upon by King Fahd Bin Abdul Aziz of Saudi Arabia was held on Monday morning at Mecca "al-Haram" mosque and al-Madina al-Mounawarra mosque besides all mosques in Saudi Arabia. The call for this prayer was advocated by the Saudi king on Thursday due to the delay of rainfall for this year. This is, however an Islamic tradition for having rain.
This is the fifth rainfall prayers the Saudi King called for during this years.
