Arab League to resume session on Tuesday
Regional, Politics, 3/27/2000

The Arab League will resume its 113th session at the permanent representatives level on Tuesday, it was announced in Cairo Sunday.

Talaat Hamed, the Arab League official spokesman, told reporters in Cairo that all Arab member states were notified on the completion of discussion of political, economic, legal, financial and administrative issues that were not discussed during the ministerial meeting, held earlier this month in Beirut.

The one day session will discuss the draft resolutions that will turn into final resolutions.

The ministerial council approved in principle the mechanism but asked a five-member committee involving Egypt, Yemen, Oman, Tunis, Syria and the Arab League Secretary General to extrapolate the ideas of member states in this concern.
