OMDH elects new chairman

M. Abdellah Oualladi has been elected chairman of the Moroccan human rights organization, OMDH.
The organization's 4th congress wound up works in Rabat Sunday, choosing a new president to take over from veteran Abdelaziz Bennani and electing a single list national council.
Early Sunday, participants discussed reports by the strategic committee on challenges of globalization, consolidation of autonomy, relations with civil society and other organizations and the body's stand on women related issues.
Oualladi is a lawyer and a founding father of OMDH.
