Yemeni president visits Canada, U.S.A and Italy

Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh is heading at the beginning of the current month to Canada, the US and Italy on a 10-day official tour.
Informed Yemeni sources said Saleh will discuss in Canada bilateral cooperation in the economic and petroleum fields, as well as means of boosting the activities of the Canadian companies working in Yemen.
The sources added that Saleh will meet with US President Bill Clinton and officials from the US administration to discuss bilateral cooperation and peace in the Middle East.
Saleh will open in Rome a fair on the Yemeni civilization that comprises 600 rare pieces of ancient archeology and that he will also visit the Vatican to meet Pope John Paul II, the sources said.
