Five journalists and a poet arrested in Sudan

The Sudanese security authorities arrested five journalists and a poet to interrogate them for violating the national security law and the armed forces law due to a poem and topics that were published by the independent newspaper Sahafa.
A prominent Sudanese security official said the specialized front in the security body is investigating according to the law and the individuals will be released upon the completion of their interrogation within three days, while the publisher of the newspaper said that the newspaper will be issued only on Friday and Saturday, due to absence of its editors.
The security official also said Sidi Abu Ahmed El-Hardelo, a famous poet, was summoned for interrogation over a poem that was published in Sahafa newspaper on Wednesday, as the official considered the poem to be urging on war against the government and instigating the Egyptian government to occupy Sudan, in addition to the criticism it contains of the Sudanese leadership.
