Arab - African conference on informatics winds up

The Arab - African conference on the promotion of the computerization of the sectors of employment and vocational training wound up in Rabat on Thursday with a call to reinforce exchange of experiences between the participating countries.
Participants from several countries, including Algeria, Egypt, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco Sudan, and Tunisia adopted a number of recommendations to improve informatics services in the field of employment in Arab countries.
The three-day conference debated the role of informatics systems in the field of employment, job seekers hiring, employment problems, follow-up of the situation of persons on the dole and intervention in the employment market.
Participants also looked into the role of employers and trade unions in promoting the computerization of the sectors of employment and vocational training and the experiences of some countries such as Germany, Sweden, Egypt, Libya, Mauritania and Morocco.
