Moroccan highway pay system: French company wins bid

A French company, "Grenobloise d'electronique et d'automatismes" (GEA), has won the bid to equip a Moroccan highway with the electronic pay system.
The system will equip the Casablanca-Settat highway, first section of the projected highway that will go as far as Agadir via Marrakesh.
GEA financial director told MAP bureau in Paris, the electronic pay system will cost FF 2 million and will be operational by July.
GEA had also installed the pay systems of the Casablanca-Larache and the Rabat-Fez highways.
