On the UNIFIL forces in south Lebanon

Israeli political sources said on Friday that the UN Security Council will discuss shortly the future of the UN forces in south Lebanon following the decision taken by Israel to fully withdraw from south Lebanon on a date not to exceed July.
Israeli Radio said that reports arrived in Israel saying that the UN fears the deterioration of the situation in south Lebanon in case Israel withdraws unilaterally and without an agreement with Syria, a matter which will endanger the safety of UNIFIL troops.
