Morocco, France share same ideals and aim for same objectives

King Mohammed VI, winding up a state visit to Paris on Wednesday, addressed President Jacques Chirac a message saying the two countries share the same ideals and aim for the same objectives. The king said he would keep an undying memory of the intellectual communion which pervaded his talks at all levels and ever-converging views.

He also expressed thanks and gratitude for the special welcome he was met with by the French president, government people saying it was a testimony to the ever-developing cooperation ties and shared ambition to strengthen bilateral partnership via wider economic, cultural and human exchanges.

During his stay in Paris, an agreement swapping 700 million FF of Moroccan debt into investment was signed.
