Program of al-Assad - Clinton's summit

The chief of protocol in Geneva, Jerome Koushlin, said that the Syrian - American summit will be convened next Sunday in a major hotel in the city and will last from noon and until the afternoon of the same day. AFP quoted Koushlin as saying that meetings between US President Bill Clinton and Syrian President Hafez al-Assad will be held at the Intercontinental Hotel, which is close to the airport and to the nation's palace, and the meetings will conclude with a press conference.
President al-Assad and President Clinton met for the first time in Geneva in 1994.
