Blair to head his country's delegation to African - European summit in Cairo

British Prime Minister Tony Blair will arrive on April 3 in Cairo, heading a high-ranking delegation to participate in meetings of the African - European summit that will be held on April 3 - 4.
A statement issued by the British embassy in Cairo said that Blair will meet with several heads of African countries to discuss the British role in supporting development plans in these countries.
He will also convene special meetings with Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak and Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika to discuss the peace process in the area and stability in Algeria, as well as revitalizing the British role in boosting the peace process in the Middle East.
