Mubarak discusses with Arafat the peace process latest development

Palestinian President Yasser Arafat arrived in Cairo yesterday evening coming from Gaza for a short visit to Egypt, during which was received by Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak. They reviewed the latest developments in the Middle East peace process on the Palestinian track.
Mahmoud Abbas (Abu Mazen), secretary general of the executive committee of the Palestinian Liberation Organization, Zohdi El-Kodra, Palestine's ambassador in Cairo, and Nabil Abu Rodina, President Arafat's advisor, joined the talks in an expanded session.
From the Egyptian side, Minsiter of Defense and Military Production Marshal Hussein Tantawi and Osama El-Baz, advisor to President Mubarak for political affairs, participated.
