Tunis: Meetings for combating crime on the Internet

The meetings of the committee for combating electronic crime affiliated to the Arab Ministries of Interior are to due to begin this morning in Tunis.
A statement issued by the Arab bureau for security information said these meetings aim at limiting the volume of crimes committed by computer and the Internet and making necessary procedures to help combat them.
The statement said this meeting has special importance due to the great development in the computer field and the uses of the Internet and that these meetings are headed by Ahmed Bin Mohamed El-Salem, secretary general of the Arab ministers of interior council, and will last for three days.
