Seven small industrial groupings to be established in Egypt
Egypt, Business, 3/23/2000
It was decided to establishing seven groupings for small industries in Egypt at an investment cost that reaches half a million Egyptian pounds, among which are four groupings that will be established within two months and three during the last six months of this year.
Egyptian Minister of Industry Mustafa El-Refaei said these groupings come in the Egyptian government's policy of encouraging small investors, especially in governorates of southern Egypt which need small factories to benefit from the raw materials in which the investment percentage is decreased.
The governorates in which the groupings will be established: Sohag, Qena, Dakahlia, Menia, Beni Sowaif, Fayoum, and North Sinai.
