Egyptian committee to check on expatriate workers' problems

The committee for care of Egyptians abroad will start under the chairmanship of Asem Megahed, the Egyptian assistant foreign minister for consular affairs and Egyptians abroad, on April 10 its 6th tour to learn about the problems of the Egyptians working in seven Arab states.
The committee includes in its membership representatives of all ministries and fronts that relate to the interests of Egyptians abroad and the general organization for investment, as well as the financial market organization. The committee will discuss in Yemen and with the officials in the six Gulf Cooperation Council countries positions of the Egyptian laborers - guided by the agreement that was signed between Egypt and Kuwait.
The tour will last for 19 days and includes visits to Sanaa, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Muscat, Dubai, Kuwait, Manama, Jeddah and Riyadh during which meetings will be held with Egyptian communities in addition to providing necessary information about investment opportunities in Egypt and means of participation in them.
In the five earlier tours, problems were solved concerning recruitment, canceling taxes on the workers abroad and transporting the bodies of the dead, as well as problems of exams.
