Yemeni information minister to visit Kuwait on Monday

Yemeni Information Minister Abd El-Rahman El-Akwa is due to start an official visit to Kuwait on Monday, during which he will deliver a message to Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Jaber al-Ahmed al-Sabah from Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh.
El-Akwa's visit to Kuwait comes as part of his tour of some of the area's countries, during which he will deliver similar messages to their leaders.
An official statement issued by the Yemeni embassy in Cairo said these messages carry invitations for the Gulf leaders to attend Yemen's celebrations of the 10th anniversary of Yemen's unity on May 22, in addition to calling for convening an Arab summit to revive endeavors for Arab solidarity.
