Steps start to establish British University in Cairo

Many Egyptian and British organizations started taking the executive steps to establish the British University in Cairo.

David Green, manager of the British council in Cairo, told ArabicNews.com that he met with Egyptian Minister of Higher Education Mufid Shehab to get preliminary lincenses to start establishing this university, which will be financed by many Egyptian and British organizations and fronts.

Green added and that this university is concerned with science and technology, adding that it will cost L.E. 15 million and that the Egyptian government will present the necessary land for the university at an easy price on the condition that it will be built in one of Cairo's districts.
