Paris mayor backs Moroccan cultural center rehabilitation
Morocco-France, Culture, 3/22/2000
Paris mayor Jean Tiberi said welcoming King Mohammed VI at the city hall Tuesday that the city financially backed the rehabilitation of the Moroccan cultural center in Paris.
The center will be brought back to life on Saint Michel Boulevard in the Latin District and the building will include an extra "House of Moroccan Students" to add up to the one at city campus, he said.
Paris, he said, means to accompany the kingdom on the move steered by the sovereign and would provide for more Moroccan students willing to immerse in newer information technologies to help the country make the most of NET-Economy.
