Arab League role commended

Arab League Secretary General Esmat Abdul Meguid has called for a united Arab stand that preserves the higher interests of all Arabs that can back Arab demands to restore all occupied Arab territories in the Golan, south Lebanon and Palestine.
In a speech he delivered on Tuesday on the occasion of the 55th foundation anniversary of the Arab League, Abdul Meguid underlined the importance of backing the establishment of common Arab work and strengthening the role of the AL as a national institution that seeks to deal with events on the ground of the national principles of the Arab nation in restoring Arab rights and preserving the national identity.
