Khamenei to visit Saudi Arabia in April

Saudi sources assured that Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, guide of the Islamic Republic of Iran will visit Saudi Arabia next month to fulfill the invitation of King Fahd Bin Abdul Aziz.
Khamenei will be the highest-ranking Iranian official to visit Saudi Arabia, after Iranian President Mohammed Khatami last year.
On the other side, Saudi Interior Minister Prince Nayef Bin Abdul Aziz is due to start an official visit to Tehran soon at the invitation of his Iranian counterpart, Abdul El-Wahd Mosowi, to discuss means of establishing Saudi- Iranian cooperation in the fields of combating terrorism and drugs.
