Egyptian association for international law condemns Israel aggression on Lebanon

The board of directors of the Egyptian Association for International Law, headed by Egyptian Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Mufid Shehab emphasized its denunciation of the recent Israeli air raids on Lebanon which prove a severe violation of the principles of international law in general and rules of humanitarian international law in particular.
The board said the Lebanese people's right to resist the Israeli occupation is stable, is guaranteed by international law and gives complete legitimacy to fighters' work to liberate national territory and that Israel must realize that its nonwithdrawal from all the occupied Arab lands and continuation of its polices in these lands does not create the proper atmosphere for establishing a permanent, comprehensive and just peace.
