Libya organizes peace conference in Somalia

Somali factional leader Hussein Aideed said that Libyan leader Moammar Gaddafi will organize a peace conference in Somalia on April 6, clarifying that 400 delegates from the main tribes and 54 delegates from the smaller tribes will participate in this conference which is to address restoring peace in Somalia.
Aideed, who arrived in Cairo coming from Libya, said the Libyan president assured him that he informed Djibouti's President Ismail Guelleh of his intent to find a peaceful solution for Somalia.
The Djiboutian president made a peace plan in Somalia upon which the international community, the United Nations Security Council, the Arab League and the Organization of African Unity have agreed.
