Moussa asserts importance of Mubarak's visit to Washington
Egypt-USA, Politics, 3/20/2000

Egyptian Foreign Minister Amr Moussa asserted in a special statement to ArabicNews.com the importance of the anticipated visit of Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak to the USA on Saturday and his discussions with US President Bill Clinton, as well as his meetings with high-ranking officials in the US administration, saying that it will push the peace process forward in the Middle East on all tracks in order to establish a just and comprehensive peace in the area.

Moussa added that Mubarak's visit to the USA will be a chance to learn about the new views in Washington and display the Egyptian stance concerning several subjects, including bilateral relations and Arab causes.

On the other hand, the Egyptian government compiled a report concerning US - Egyptian economic relations to be raised to President Mubarak before his visit to the USA.
