$28.5 billion in Egyptian external debts

Statistics issued by the Egyptian Economy Ministry said the volume of Egypt's external debts reaches $28.5 billion and that installments are currently being paid of 1.2 billion dollars annually. The Economy Ministry added that it was decided to borrow a limit of a billion dollars annually on special conditions from regional organizations and Arab funds according to the instructions of Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak upon which the borrowing takes place, which are knowing the economic feasibility of the loan and laying any burdens on the state's budget to pay this loan.
