Four international offers to purchase Egyptian company for railway equipment

The Egyptian holding company for metal industries received four international offers to purchase the Egyptian company for railway equipment, Simaf.
A statement issued by the holding company said the offers come from France, Italy, Hungary and Spain, adding that the companies presenting the offers made a condition that the Egyptian organization for railways commit to purchasing a specific share of the company's production, as it is the only agent for the company's products inside Egypt.
The Egyptian organization refused the condition, which led the presenters of these offers to study Egypt's surrounding markets like the Gulf and the Arab Maghreb to discuss the export possibilities to these markets.
