Egyptian - Tunisian committee to discuss commercial agreement on Monday

Works of the preparatory meetings for the supreme joint Egyptian - Tunisian are starting on Monday. The supreme committee's meetings are to be held under the chairmanship of the prime ministers of the two countries on Wednesday.
The committee will discuss the executive stance for the free trade agreement signed between the two states in March 1998 and which started being implemented in March 1999.
The committee will also discuss the obstacles and problems that obstruct the development of commercial exchange, which did not exceed $25.1 million between from January through September 1999, among which were $14.6 million in Egyptian exports in comparison to $10.5 million in Egyptian imports from Tunisia.
