Egyptian computer software companies seek presence in Dubai City for Internet

Many Egyptian companies in the computer software field are seeking to find a place in Dubai city for the Internet in the Emirates that has been set up by the Dubai government to be a regional center for data technology and electronic trade.

ArabicNews.com learned that "concern of the Egyptian computer software manufactures in Dubai city for Internet comes within the Egyptian companies' plan to exist among the international companies which have already reserved places in this electronic city."

It is known that the Egyptian computer software industry is considered as ranking the first in the Arab states despite of absence of the intellectual protection laws in most of the Arab states where sales of computer software reach 1.5 billion dollars among which are 20% for sales to Egyptian companies.
