Moussa in Washington today

Egyptian foreign minister Amr Moussa is starting today a visit to the U.S.A. to prepare for the visit of the Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak which will begin on 25th till 29th of current month.
Before heading to Washington, Moussa will visit Venice in Italy to deliver a speech before an Italian forum on international relations in which he is focusing on the stability of the Egyptian foreign policy and its different views of regional and international issues.
During his stay in Venice, Moussa will hold meetings with some countries' foreign ministers who are participating in the Assin meeting.
A diplomatic source in the foreign ministry said that "the main pivots in Moussa's visit to U.S.A. will focus on preparing for president Mubarak's visit to U.S.A., the peace process in the Middle East, the U.S. - Egyptian relations with its economic, commercial and the military elements, the U.S. - Egyptian partnership as well as promoting for the Egyptian economy in addition to establishing a free trade zone between Egypt and U.S.A."
