Al-Assad, Mubarak discuss conditions in the region

A telephone call was made on Tuesday evening between Syrian President Hafez al-Assad and Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak. Talks during the telephone conversation dealt with Arab and international developments, the situation in the Middle East and issues of mutual concern.
