Israel and withdrawal from the Golan and south Lebanon

The Monte Carlo radio correspondenct in Tel Aviv on Wednesday quoted a political source at the office of Prime Minister Ehud Barak as saying that Barak still has a bid to get out of the Lebanese bottleneck through maintaining a political understanding with Syria under the return of the Lebanese file on Israel's agenda.
The source asserted that there is a direct link between the solutions in the Golan and in south Lebanon, adding that the situation of Kiryat Shimona settlement on the Lebanese borders will not be calm as the situation in the Katsrin settlement in the Golan.
The source warned in that Lebanon is planning to continue military activity against Israel even after the withdrawal of Israel's forces to the international borders.
