Changing al-Kaaba cloth

The general presidency of al-Haram mosque and the prophet's mosque yesterday changed the current cloth of al-Kaaba with the new cloth, an annual tradition carried out every year on the very same day.
The al-Kaaba cloth is made of pure silk. Its height is 14 meters, and it is 95 cm wide and 47 meters long.
The cloth has the Koran's Sorah written and Islamic inscriptions. The total cost of each cloth is estimated at 17 million Saudi riyals.
