Smuggling of gold watches frustrated in Cairo airport

Cairo airport customs caught an attempt to smuggle 21 gold watches with a value of 200,000 LE that a passenger hid in her clothes and shoes on her arrival from Europe.
A statement issued by the customs authorities in Cairo airport said that Yusef Abd El-Salam, chief of customs in the airport, doubted the behavior of the passenger who was coming on a trip from Italy. He personally checked her, and he found watches marked as Rolexs with diamond stones whose customs fees are 500% of its original price and are not allowed with regular passengers.
